Nathaniel Gotcher, RA

Nathaniel Gotcher is a classically trained architect specializing in sacred architecture and educational facilities. He served as project architect for the award-winning Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary Student Life Center and Chapel with Voith & Mactavish Architects and project lead for Campbell AME Church’s preservation efforts with Union Studio.

Nathaniel teaches a course on the fundamentals of architecture entitled “From Cosmos to Craft: a Teleological Approach to Architecture” at Martin Saints Classical High School and has written and presented on architecture, urbanism, and the common good for Sacred Architecture Journal, Society of Catholic Liturgy, Design Advocacy Group, and The Josias.

Through passionate and reasoned exploration, Nathaniel uses architectural design to translate meaning into beautiful, useful, and durable forms.
